Work as Worship Video Kit with Matt Chandler, Norm Miller of Interstate Batteries and David Green of Hobby Lobby

The other day a friend wrote a post about how most books about faith and work are not widely known about by the church at large. I would agree. Videos go viral in minutes. Within a week some movies can be seen by 80 million people. To get this message out into the church, the thing that is needed is a different medium.

This spring, we launched the first of many Work as Worship video series. Our prayer is that this study might turn 5,000 small groups into launching pads to validate, and unleash their business people to make a difference through their work. Here's the description of the new video series:

Most of us spend over half our lives at work. Whatever it is you fill the 9–5 with—planting crops, building cars, taking care of patients, teaching students, running a business—work is where we spend most of our waking hours.

We often forget to connect our faith to our work. We don’t consider the reasons God may have us at our job. We don’t think about the purpose and meaning we could bring to our work. We simply focus on how it makes us feel.

But what if we saw our work as an opportunity to worship?

In these three inspiring sessions from last year's Work as Worship Conference, you will discover your mission is in the marketplace. Around the conference table, around the water cooler, or around the cubicle, you have an opportunity to worship the God who created you.

The video kit includes the main sessions from last year's Work as Worship Conference and the video stories from Hobby Lobby, Betenboough Homes, Red Dot and many more. It also includes a copy of the book, Work as Worship.
