Notre Dame Student's Inspiring Business Idea to Convert Shipping Containers into Affordable Housing

As many of you know, I'm a diehard Michigan State Spartan fan. I can't help it, I was brainwashed at an early age by one of the greatest grandfather's anyone could hope for. He worked in the admissions department for years and missed one home football game in something like 30 or 40 years and sold me early on.

It was a good day today watching the Spartans let by running back Javon Ringer run off to something like the 9th victory in the last 12 games against Notre Dame. But enough about football ...

During the game I learned about a really inspiring business plan of a Notre Dame student to convert empty shipping containers into creative housing opportunities. This name of it is called "Por Fin Nuestra Casa." Translated in English this simply means "Finally, a home of our own." For its creativity alone, I'd recommend watching the video that was aired on NBC a few weeks ago. Its inspiring to see what kind of creative ideas students can come up with.

Since we will (hopefully) be importing much less merchandise from China now, due to the recent rash of poisonous products coming from that country, we should have an abundance of unused shipping containers that can be made into shanty towns!
