Business as Mission Conference in Puerto Rico featuring Tom Sudyk

God continues to fuse together the Business as Mission movement with Missionaries on the field

Workers have served in mission fields around the World through business or professional work, while establishing churches, sharing their faith, working on socioeconomic development and reaching out in so many other ways since the early days of the church. It may seem like it is a new way of ministering in certain regions, but a more in-depth look at church and missions history will show otherwise.

The concept of Business as Mission has been discussed, studied and applied by a number of organizations and individuals, perhaps in a more specific and visible way, in recent years. A variety of studies and researches have also been done. RECOMI, Puerto Rico’s Missions Network, affiliated with COMIBAM, the Ibero-American Missions Network, is offering this inspiring and practical seminar, designed to help both the Christian businessman or woman, missions agencies directors, missions and theology teachers and professors, pastors, local church missions leaders, missionaries and missions candidates better understand BAM – Business as Mission.

Dick McCaskill and Tom Sudyk have been directly involved in the development of Business as Mission projects at various levels and in several countries. They will teach both from the perspective of their long term enterprise level business experience as well as from their hands on work.

The seminar will offer an overview of the concept of business in the context of the mission service. We will take a practical look at the processes involved. Several case studies will help us evaluate ministry and business results and the challenges they represent, as well as develop business projects ideas and consider ways to implement them. You will also have the opportunity to have a one-on-one appointment with one of the speakers to ask specific questions or discuss business ideas or concepts. If you would like to set up an appointment please mark the box on the lower part of the form (due to time limitations, the appointment will be set up at the discretion of the speakers at any available time on their schedules on e ither may 15, 16 or 17)
