#20 Corey Cleek: Encouraging Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs One Devotional at a Time

Some Sunday mornings, the divide between the sacred and the secular can sometimes feel like a rift as wide and deep as the grand canyon. Author and editor Corey Cleek is helping bridge that gap for businessmen and women who are looking to make a difference in their workplace.

Last month he released "Devotional Ventures: 60 Inspiring Devotions By Business Professionals For Business Professionals." You may have read the previous posting "Looking for Business Devotionals? Want to Write One?". The book is a collection of devotionals written by business executives who have taken their faith to the workplace and the international marketplace.

Recently Corey mentioned that he is already making plans for a second edition of the book. Right now the focus is on writing devotionals and messages that would be geared specifically for entrepreneurs. This could be an incredible support to Business as Mission entrepreneurs who are out there on the front lines and need of encouragement. It could also very well be the type of resource that pushes some entrepreneurs here in the United States to branch out and discover how they can use their business for God.

Remember, that in the spirit of a little "collaborative intelligence, one of the unique things Devotional Ventures has done is to invite readers of devotional ventures to submit writings for consideration for the next editions. If you would like to submit a writing, check out these guidelines on the website.
